Introduction
The Ozuzu-Voice Educational Foundation (“Ozuzu-Voice“) is a charity registered in Nigeria. Our charity number is 185222 and our registered address is Ozuzu-Voice Educational Foundation, No. 15 Odenigbo Avenue, Ariaria Aba, Nigeria. In this Notice, references to ‘we’ and ‘us’ mean Ozuzu-Voice.
This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which we will process and use any personal data about our supporters, potential supporters and visitors to our website www.ozuzuvoicefoundation.com (“website”) that we collect from them, that they provide to us, or that we collect from third parties.
For the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/279 (GDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (‘NDPR’), we are the data controllers and are located at No. 15 Odenigbo Avenue, Ariaria Aba, Nigeria.
We are committed to ensuring that Personal Data is properly and securely managed in accordance with the GDPR and the NDPR in respect of the collection, holding, storage, use, and processing of personal data about our supporters (such personal data is held in both manual and electronic records).

What Personal Data do we hold about you?
- Name;
- Postal address;
- Phone numbers (home, work and mobiles as applicable);
- Email address(es);
- Contact preferences;
- Information given when completing the contact form on our website;
- Information on donations made;
- Information that our supporters give us – for example when making donations, such as bank account details.
- Information which you choose to provide to us or that we are provided by others.
- Any correspondence between supporters and ourselves (whether by telephone, e-mail or otherwise).
Supporters don’t have to provide personal data to us to browse the website or to use our social media, but they do need to provide us with certain personal data in order to contact us or make a donation.
How and Why do we Process your Personal Data?
The Personal Data which we hold about you may be Processed in a number of ways, for example:
- Communicating with supporters and recording any relevant communications.
- To process donations made by supporters and keep records of donations made and actions taken by our supporters.
- Supporting volunteers.
- Performing our obligations under any contracts that we enter with supporters.
- Telling supporters about changes to our work.
- For statistical and survey purposes.
- Keeping our website safe and secure.

We must have a lawful basis for Processing your information; this will vary according to the circumstances of how and why we have your information, but typical examples include:

All Personal Data that supporters provide to us is stored on our secure servers and/or on the servers of our suppliers who we have engaged to host our website.

How long will we keep your information for?
We will endeavour to only keep Personal Data for as long as is necessary and to delete it when it is no longer so.
